GeoMotion Trading Company currently operates as an adjunct of GeoMotion, LLC. GeoMotion, LLC, our parent/partner enterprise, develops online marketing programs in the travel and tourism sector. In the course of developing virtual tours in Africa and South America, we have come face to face with the daunting problems of achieving sustainable economic development.

We have also encountered many wonderful people and startling opportunities along the way. We have come to believe that cultural assets represent some of the best values in the global information age.

GeoMotion Trading Company was launched in response to these issues and opportunities. Our company explores the process of transforming cultural assets into competitive advantage that can be fairly rewarded in the global marketplace.

Fair trade is sometimes viewed as a form of charity; we prefer to focus on the added value gained by the consumer. Our goal is to fit into a trend of growing appreciation for the deeper qualities that our producers have invested in their products--values that come in large measure from their cultural heritage. To us, the Fair Trade concept is a way to bring these values to market along with the coffee or tea or other material goods they offer--to lift the cultural value out of the sinkhole of commodity trading.

We seek to facilitate this process in part through the communication technologies that we have available.
